Problem installing & registering
« on: March 14, 2004, 11:58:39 am »

I just downloaded MJB 8.0something, paid, got the email with reg. code, install. key, and license, but I can't figure out  what to do with them.  Tangoalan

If you paid, MJ should now be licensed.  Details are here:

Sorry, but the problem's still there.  I get the "Your 30-day trial period has expired" splash screen, and am told I have to pay (but I HAVE!)  I still am mystified what I'm supposed to do with the regist. code, install key, and that lengthy license.  Tangoalan.

Did you try the FAQ Jim referred to?

The FAQ says the install key.  I did that, saving it on the desktop as a .txt  file, but when I click (or double click) on it, nothing happens.  So "clicking on the file to install it" doesn't work.  I tried generating a new install key, clicked on it, clicked on the attachmen (this all in Netscape Messenger)  --  still nothing.  Tangoalan.

Don't use .txt, use the default .mjr (it should be supplied by Internet Explorer).
Renaming the file you have may work.
