« on: March 21, 2005, 06:54:25 pm »

Hi

MJ volume control has disappeared, and the alt P menu vol controls have no effect, just producing the message Volume: N/A.

Have uninstalled and reinstalled: problem still there though. am a bit lost... anyone know what might be going wrong?

Try reinstalling your sound card driver.

Thanks Jim. It turned out to be a problem with the OS, not MJ's fault.

There still may be something running in the background robbing your cpu or ram of resources. Check with MS Taskmanager/processes or get "Stop Cop" (it will allow you turn off apps that are running in the background).
