Database and directorystructure identical
« on: August 09, 2005, 05:10:27 am »

I have the artist "2Pac", "2 Pac" and "Tupac Shakur". All three of them are the same guy. In my database I only use the name "2Pac".

Unfortunately all physical directories still exist with all the artistnames mentioned. How can I let the directorystructure reflect the databasenames? So in the end there's only one "2Pac" directory.

What's the "commit changes" command for this.

You have to 'Rename Files from Properties'...

EpF, Thanks.

I have used this command several times for other issues but have never used the directory part. Only used it for renaming the file when I had a duplicate filename(1).ape.

Thanks again ..  :D

Tried it on my iPod. Realized it wouldn't work, what a pitty. Seems to me there is no other way then to rebuild the database.  :-\

Steve are you there ??
