Hi all! If this is a wrong place for this post please forgive. I have tried finding information about this on the forum but was unsuccessful. My Problem is that when I click "Start Recording", MC gives me an error "A valid digital TV device is not selected". I have the latest version of the media center (11.1.114) and the tv tuner is Hauppauge WinTV PVR PCI II. When I go to "Configure TV", I have the Hauppauge listen in the Analog TV tuner section and nothing in the digital TV section. When I click Digital TV tab, Media Center Crashes, and when I click Recording tab, and then click another tab, it tells me "Failed to create folder. Make sure the folder name you entered does not contain illegal characters". I am running windows XP Pro, Pentium 4 1.6Ghz, 512 Ram, and 440GB combined hard drive space. Also I am a registered MC 11 user. Two things that I feel might be connected to this problem is 1) The TV tuner card has a direct sound output (no audio wire line in) and the language for non-unicode programs is Russian. I mention the las one because it might have a connection to the "Failed to create a folder" error. Sorry if there is Useless Information in the post but I am trying to create a comprehensive problem description. Please help and thanks in advance!
