Auto-Import -- Revisited

What is the latest & greatest way to Auto-Import a directory on a set schedule?

Plugin? New utility in MC? Batch File? Media Scheduler command?

I really need to start scheduling my importing, its becoming a pain :)

I thnk the only way so far is King Sparta's plugin.
