please ? at least just for audio files :D

cause i think that's what's causing media server to crash.. maybe it needs to fully buffer the files or something..

and to fully prevent skipping. my music skips (though extremely rarely) even with the buffering set to 4.01 secs..

I would also like to see this. My computer, though quiet, is not quite quiet enough.  :)  I mostly play lossless files, and my pc is constantly reading from the hdd every few seconds, making just enough noise to annoy me if I'm listening to music at a low volume.

Or is there some setting that I can change that will solve this for me?

Newer drives are quieter.  Some new PC's are almost completely silent.
