Online Library Integration
« on: April 07, 2007, 10:19:31 am »

Greetings!!

I store most of my flac audio files on a linux server from a web host (unlimited storage), current size circa 250 gigs. I use php scripting to stream and download to users of my site.

Is there a way that I can use MC12 to access those files online and change the tags, as MC12 has some nice tagging features, that the php script would take forever to tweak.

Not a big fan of having my personal computer online, so I would like to incorporate MC12 in managing the files I have online with my hosting server.

Any thoughts or help is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

Just to elaborate slightly on what Jim said - thats an app for linux servers that provides file sharing.
You could install it onto your server, then map your remote storage in Windows as drives then use MC to manage them although I have no idea how the performance would be.
