I'd quote the rest but the language is more colorful than I'd normally use.

Well, that makes my day!

awesome. I have my hopes up that MC12 will soon come out with a version that will handle these.

This link may prove to be useful. It describes how to make a new iPod work under Linux (not that I really use Linux.... ;-))

Keep in mind, this will probably not fix the coverflow\compilation bugs.

i have posted a workaround for those once we get MC working with the Ipod Classic, however, since MC cannot edit tags on the Ipod directly, you may need to do calculated fields in MC instead.

Podcast genre to use for bookmarking audiobooks Might also still be broken, and since MC does not have the feature of "remember palyback" for the files, last resort might be to use bonkenc to convert to true audiobook m4b files.

MC does not have the feature of "remember palyback" for the files

Is there any chance of this feature being added to MC?  This would be a REALLY nice feature since it would allow us to bookmark mp3 audiobooks without incorrectly tagging them as podcasts, and without having to convert the files.  Converting would be a real pain for me since by my rough count, I have about 550 files (about 5 gigs) that would need to be converted.

Thanks,

Larry
