Could you provide a little more detail about what you're trying to do, and what skin items you are working with?

Thanks.

I'm trying to make those objects wider so the words LOCATION..... fit correctly. The skin that I'm trying to mod is the ARUBA skin.
I have no idea what objects to modify. I found a few object in the skins folder that look identical to the item that I want ot modify. i changed these (made them wider) with gimp graphic editor but still they remain the same when I load MC12.

Do you mean higher, rather than Wider?
Wider would not make any difference as you can adjust the width of a column from within MC.

I haven't tried this, but it might work,
try changing the height of List_HeaderBar.gif

It's not possible to influence the size of the header bars because scaling
is done by MC. You can only influence which parts (that means borders...)
of the bitmap are not scaled with the "Margins" entry in the "List/HeaderBar"
section of the skins "main.xml".

Unfortunately not all parts of MC are scaled when bigger fonts are used.
As the header bars of lists are scaled right, I don't no why pane header bars
are not... But if they can not be scaled for some reason, they should use the
normal small font (as tabs do, for example).

So I would say the way pane header bars with bigger fonts are displayed now
is a little bit flawed...

So there is no way to make things bigger so they can be viewed easier from a distance? :(

Standard view isn't really designed for that, Theater View is supposed to be the distance view.
Although the developers maybe able to do something for you.

Alternatively how about changing the resolution of the screen to something lower?
That would make the font sizes bigger, abeit ugly close up.

Changed: Pane headers better resize to accomodate large fonts.

Hi Matt
So you are saying that this is programed as a fix for a future version? :)
Isn't .465 the current version?
