When you are watching an Interact thread with the Notify feature turned on and a thread is split-off you receive notification of the Split,

however the link brings you back to the Original thread from which the split was taken, and not to the newly created thread.
There is actually nothing to tell you what was split or where it was placed under what thread title.

Could this be made to direct you to the new thread which was split-off?



actually you get two nitifications, one stating there has been a split and another stating that there was an addition to the original thread (such as Jim telling the posted that his post was split off)
