Help to identify iPod Nano
« on: November 05, 2008, 04:43:59 pm »

I get a message that the device cannot be identified for:

iPod nano 8 GB Black
Model on iPod:MB754LL/S
Part No. on case: MB754LL/A
Model on Case: A1285
Serial #: 3R0

How do I get Media Center to load music into this device?

The next beta of Media Center 13 will provide support for the newest Nanos.

Thanks for responding.  How soon will this happen? Is there anything I can do now to load music onto the nano iPod using Media Player.

That build is now on the MC13 board near the top.

Is there an estimate as to when the build for Media Center 13 will be ready?  Otherwise, I'll have to use iTunes to load music onto the new iPod, which will make the purchase of Media Center unnecessary.
Thanks

I did the update, but it still does not recognize the nano iPod.  I don't know how to fix this!

Version 13.0.062  When I connect iPod, it still says "No handheld available. Connect your handheld to the computer and turn it on.  If your handheld is still not detected, you can force device redection here: Options>Handheld>Device Management>Redect Devices...

I have clickec on Tools, options, etc, and still get
"Your iPod could not be properly identified. Please check for an updated version of Media Center. iPod type: "YM837D1K3RO', ", 1452, 4707.

Thanks
