NAS setup with media center
« on: June 06, 2009, 04:00:55 pm »

I have all of my audio and video files on a NAS which is hardwired to my Squeezebox (music server) and home theater system. I also have a wireless g network in my home. Is it possible and/or desirable to load Media Center on my NAS to display pictures, video files, etc. on my TV?

I do the usual connection via web browser to my NAS. It would be really nice to use some of MC's TV display features.

You would probably just install MC on your home theater PC and import the library from the NAS drive.  Installing MC on the NAS drive has no advantage.
