What fields are you looking for?

We're going to try to get a stock layout that works for most people.  Later we may open it up to customization.

11. NEW: Theater View file info panel shows metadata like actors, producers, description, etc. for movies.

I was hopeful to see those items mentioned in the quote above. At this point in time I don't care about file path, keywords, dimensions, etc. I'm looking for such items as Cast, IMDB Rating, Description, Year,
MPAA Rating, Studio, Director, Etc..

Not everyone will want these and will have other tags they will want to display. Making this customizable, to me, would be the best solution.

Most of the fields you've listed will show up if you have data.  I'd recommend trying what's there and then circling back with changes you'd like.

Some great new features there, thanks! A nice touch using a roller instead of a drop down menu, btw!

Did you leave out the tag information in the info panel while browsing for aesthetic reasons? You then have to push a button to see the tag data.

I would prefer to see the tag info immediately when a new item is selected...

Another comment:  Is the rule that user defined fields (such as "IMDB rating) don't show up in the panel?
