Statistics & Property Windows
« on: March 13, 2010, 06:41:20 pm »

MC 9.0.180 had a property window that you could detach or align at the right side of the screen.  The property window had the option to display file info, format, and statistics.  Are there any settings to duplicate this interface in MC14?

Thanks

"Tag panel" in "action window" should answer this?

gvag, it is no longer possible to detach the tag window, and the statistics panel was a casualty of the Action Window when it was introduced. To be honest with you, I never really missed it, especially so as we now have panes that include totals for each category.

neFAST,
Back in v9.0.xxx days, we had a detachable/resizeable tag panel that included a 'statistics' page....

It was OK. Back in those days, there was no such thing as an 'action window', and the player controls were down there in the bottom left corner....

Five major builds later, and JRiver Media Center has evolved into an extremely accomplished application. It was interesting playing around with this old build.

I'll stick with MC9 for documenting my music, I'm used to its GUI and for the types of things I do its more convenient.  The only reason I upgraded was for the UPnP features, I was hoping to avoid running two versions but its not that critical.
