Screen resizing possible in options to 8.9" Netbook screen ??
« on: December 07, 2010, 05:22:30 pm »

Hi,

I am mostly using an atom-based netbook for audio playback in MC15.

The screen is only 8.9".

When using options setup is it hard to exit/set and close the the option windows. In some windows is it impossible and I am forced to close down MC15 to leave the option window.

I am trying to move the window up as much as I can but that is not enough.

If the window resized would, of coarse, be the best solution but another possibility would be to enable moving a window by other handles than the present upper black strip.

Any suggestions?

We were just talking about this today.  It's a bit of a switch-a-roo, because monitors had been getting progressively larger.  Now netbooks are going the other way.

As a result, we need to work through some dialogs to add scrollbars.

In the case of options, just maximize the window and it will work pretty well.

Cheers Matt and thank you for your answer.

I will look forward towards a solution with scroll-bars or by other means.

However I must disagree with your proposition to maximize the window. That works in the first option window and maybe in some others. But if you launch "DSP Studio" for example is it not that easy.
