I believe the Xoom is Android 3.0 (Honeycomb).  I've run Gizmo on the Atrix, which is also 3.0.  There should be no problem.

Please tell us what you find.

Now time to pick between the Xoom and the new Galaxy Tab 8.9 and 10.1  -  What is the difference between these two?  Does the galaxy run on Honeycomb as well, is it stable?

I have the original Samsung Galaxy Tab.  It has a 7 inch screen.  I love it.  As a remote for MC, it's great.

The Xoom is an all around fantastic device. I seriously couldn't recommended anything more. Ive bought just about every android tablet available to date, and the Samsung is nice, but the xoom , in my opinion, beats it in every way, unless you want something in the 7" size category. the new Samsung will be nice, but it has its work cut out to beat the xoom.
i run gizmo on it fine (having a few issues, but i don't think are those tablet related.)

I got the Barnes & Noble Nook Color and rooted it (quite easy to do).

Now I have a pretty nice 7" screen Android tablet, for only $250.
