I apologize for the noob-ish question, but I can't find a definitive answer in the Wiki or on the forums (other than a reference of Matt saying "not recommended.")

I recently installed MC 16.0.176 and would like to rollback to 16.0.145 to avoid some problems in the newer version.

There does not seem to be any way to undo an upgrade in the MC interface.  I found the "updates channel" download directory and the 145 download, but running it asks various questions about custom install that makes me nervous it will wipe out my prefs or something.

Can someone please point me to the documenation on the safe and proper downgrade procedure?

I just answered your posts about problems you're having.

To install an old build, just run it and hope for the best.  If the database hasn't changed it should work.
