DVD/ISO/MADVR
« on: October 12, 2011, 11:31:23 am »

Hello,

I currently do not manage to make ISO of my DVDs to work with MADVR as the renderer.

I'm on Windows 7x64, ROHQ. In file types, I put Madvr for ifo,vob as Video Renderer and let the other fields to Automatic. ISO files are associated with Virtual Clone Drive.

I also replaced qdvd.dll in System32+Syswow64 with a custom one, as advised on Doom9 forums http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=159492

But when I launch the ISO through MC16, it keeps saying that EVR is used for rendering.

Anyone managed to make it works by any chance ?

Do you have RO (HQ) selected?

madVR doesn't support DVD.

We're hoping madshi will add support soon.  The renderer needs to support multiple video input pins so that DVD menu overlays, etc. will work.

Rip your DVDs to MKV. Then you can play back with MadVR.
