Get all cover art at once.
« on: November 30, 2011, 04:25:34 pm »

I love how MC gets cover art, its more reliable and quick than other programmes I've used and I trust it enough to let it do my entire  collection.
Can this be done?
Currently, it does maybe 20 albums at a time, I got 2000. I would like to leave it running overnight to get it all. This possible?

Doesn't MC pop up a dialog if no art exists? Just one of those would probably put the buzz kill your all night session quickly.....

Well at the moment, it gets all covers for about 20 albums at onces, ones it cant find it leaves alone, which I love.
I just want it to do more than 20.

What happens if you select 50 albums and do a get cover art?

Just a thought:

Create a new library and auto-import all of your music (make sure auto-import is set to grab cover art automatically but not analyze audio or build thumbnails to save time). Save the cover art to the file tags (or folder) and then load up your original library and run "Quick Find in File/Cover Art Directory."

Try the options under General/Metadata.

The lookup is controlled a little to protect our server.
