Hi there,
i'm facing a problem running MC on a low footprint Windows Embedded 2009 Standard operating system. Obviously, it's just a dependency issue regarding one or more missing Windows components, but after investigating for several days, it tend to be difficult to know witch one exactly. The error appear at MC startup, and crash it right before the main windows appear. It also crash the application when being launch with the /MediaServer argument. This error is describe as the following :
Application Error : The exception unknown software exception (0xc06d007e) occurred in the application at location 0x7c812aeb.
Right now i'm able to make MC running nicely on a 180Mb operating system, but i will be glad if we can reduce this footprint to the bare minimum.
For that purpose, i'd like to know a bit more about the MC dependencies regarding Windows, and maybe with the following components in particular :
- Internet Explorer
- Explorer application
- COM+ Services
- Directory service commun user interface
