Help: JRiver stopped with a message "bufferring"
« on: June 22, 2013, 03:05:25 pm »

I am using Windows 8.  JRiver stopped by itself after, perhaps, 45 minutes of playing, with a message saying "buffering".   I waited for a few minutes, it was still "buffering".  I stopped the song and played it again, it worked.  This issue happened multiple times already.  Please advise what should I do.  Many thanks in advance.

What are you playing and what are you playing it to?

I was playing Flac file from an USB external hard drive.  I connected my laptop to a V-Link 192 via USB, then to a DAC via AES/EBU.  Thank for you help.

Try playing local files.  It's possible the drive is unavailable.

Try using MC's DSP Studio/Output Settings to force everything to 44.1/16.
