Thanks for the MC20 license! Everything went fine on install, and it's working great with one exception.  I was surprised that MC19 is still there and would like to remove it.  I still have remote access to 19 via Gizmo & Webgizmo, but I cannot access 20 using the new key it generated. I'm assuming that when I remove 19, I'll be able to access 20 via Gizmo & Webgizmo - but if this assumption is wrong, any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Can I simply uninstall 19 without affecting 20 at all, or do I need to remove individual components to preserve dependencies?

Just uninstall 19

You might need to run MC19 once before uninstalling it.  I'm not sure, but that switches the active core.

You can uninstall 19 without any hitches.
sudo dpkg -r mediacenter19
in a terminal is one way.
The access key from 20 should work whether or not 19 is installed (as long as it's not running).
