How do you get the TV TUNER to work? I get an error......

I have a voodoo 3500 TV, Win98, 850mhz, 350mb's.

I get a "Failed to create TV control" error message when trying to watch, set channels etc...

Does it only have to be an ATI?
I see them promoting another card, so don't know if that should matter.

We currently support ATI and Hauppauge WinTV cards.

If the driver of your Voodoo TV card is WDM, it may work. "Failed to create TV control" message seems to point to a more generic problem of registering or loading a control. Can you manually register the TV control? Which MJ version are you using?

I'm having the same problem but with a hauppauge card under win 98 and with the latest drivers. I also get an error when I close MJ after trying the tv function which relates to MFC42.DLL. Something must be happening somewhere because if I try win tv 2000 software after trying MJ It does not start and says that another application is using the tv card.

Are You Using MJ8, Version 7.2 Did not Support hauppauge as well

There's a problem with the latest TV control using a dll not present on all systems.

We'll get it fixed in one of the next couple builds.
