Hi,

I currently run JRiver on two pcs.
One is a small and no very powerful connected to a dac and the TV. I access this PC from my iPad/iPhone.
The other one is more powerful and is the one I use to edit tags, analyse audio, etc.
If I import from the small the files edited on the big pc, I don't always get all the edited information even though I have set up the tags to be written into the file.
So I often backup the library on the big one and restore it on the small one. This would not be a problem if on the process I did not loose the "last played" information (on music, TV shows, etc).
Is there a way I can keep this last played info from the small one and restore it later?.
Can both PCs share the last played records?.
Any other "easy" suggestion to maintain both libraries synchronised (I have more than 120,000 files on the library).

Thanks in advanced,

O

Sometimes, the tags in the files will be correct, but not in the library, depending on what you're doing.

You can fix that by selecting the files and telling MC to update the library from the tags.  Check under Library Tools, and try a few before you do very many.

It would be easiest to have your more powerful PC be the Library server and the less powerful PC the client. That way all changes are synced automatically and you won't need to do anything manually.

Thanks for the responses
Jim, I will try your suggestion.
Bryan, I would rather find a different alternative as I don't want to run both computers 24/7.
