I have this problem in both versions 20-21.
As I found out by experience, this problem is related with the launch of Media Server.
The operation without the Media Center server is operating normally, the CPU load is not more than 8%.
Waiting for comments, how to solve this problem.
Thanks

It doesn't make sense since running Media Serrver is normally a very light load.

Maybe your configuration has managed to create some kind of loop?  You could try setting things back to a default configuration.

You've described two "bad behaviors" of MC.  Do they both only happen when you use DLNA by turning on Tools > Options > Media Network > Use Media network > (checked) ?

Does MC work normally with Media Network turned off?

As a double check, do you have MC21 in the Applications folder?  Or are you running it straight from the DMG file that you downloaded it in?
