Failed to connect Audio decoder to source / splitter
« on: December 25, 2015, 11:21:35 am »

I want to play the Avatar Blu-ray with MC.  I get a message from MC that there is a playback problem and the error message in the subject.  I can't figure out why or what to do.

I have WinDVD Pro 11 installed and I can play Avatar with that directly.  Is there some way I need to tell MC to use that player?

I see from the forum that I need AnyDVD or some other player, but in my case that should be WinDVD Pro 11.

It is my first try at using MC to play Blu-ray.

Update:  After repeated attempts to figure this out, I am now getting a new error message.

"Please install a Blu-ray reader to enable Blu-ray movie playback..."

Still strange to get this message because I have WinDVD Pro 11 installed already.

Please read this:

If you're trying to play a 3D BD, it won't work.
