I have a Pioneer AVH-4100NEX that seems to only play nice with cover art for files that save their tags using ID3v2.3. I have files throughout my library that are using a mix of other versions of ID3. Is there a way to use MC to convert all my files in bulk to ID3v2.3 tagging (updating the existing tags) and then lock MC down to ID3v2.3 for future tags? Someone suggested using a program called bliss but I would rather use JR software if possible. Thanks for any suggestions.

Been doing some more work on this and it seems that what I need to save to is ID3v2.3 ISO-8859-1 only. Is there a way to lock down MC to a specific version of ID3 tags? I used MP3tag to remove the non-supported tags like ID3v1 for my stereo, but when I update cover art thru MC it re-writes the ID3v1 tags.
