Hi,
do you have an idea, how I can get/Import(?) ALL my settings from the version before to the actually latest installed version?

=> I mean, I DO NOT want in the latest actually installed new version AGAIN p.ex. the followings:
1. install and choose Skins;
2. import libraries;
3. make ALL Settings in the option Dialog
etc.

I intend to Import ALL app-settings from the version before with ONE single import-click and the new Version runs with all - like the older Version - without any time to install and do all settings again [...]

It is possible?

Thanks.

You can restore a backup from the previous version.  MC makes backups automatically.

A library backup contains almost everything.  File> Library > backup library .  Then take that file to your new machine and restore it:  File > Library  > restore library .  Be sure that the "settings" box is checked on restore.

This won't get skins.  You might also need to reconfigure the directory for cover art.  For most everything else, this should do it.

Brian,

thanks. I noticed (and wonder a little bit): I have to set all "settings" in 'options', skins etc. manually again.

It (backup not only library but all app settings, too) could be one of the next release features for the next versions.

Everything in Tools > Options (which is where almost every setting is) gets saved in a backup and will be restored by a library restore.

skins etc. manually again.

As far as I know, all you have to do is copy over your skins into the correct directory under Media Center 22.

The backup is pretty complete.  It only omits a few things here and there.  Like skins.
