Hi, I have recently started using JRiver and I wonder if  someone can help me please with a glitch I'm experiencing? Every FLAC file I have where the source is say 3 CDs originally is being played in the following way-  track 1 of  CD1, track 1 of  CD 2, track 1 of  CD 3 and then track 2 of  CD 1, track 2 of CD 2 etc.  Is there anything in the settings I can change to stop this ? Thanks.

Check sorting rules of your view. My guess is you sort on track numbers. Try sort on album first, then track number if you want to play each album in sequential order.

There is also a tag called "Disc #".  You could set it.

The Disc # field is the key.  If you set the Disc # field correctly for all of the tracks, then they will sort in order.

Use the Tagging Window (Edit> Tag) to set the Disc # field on all files and you should be fine.

The Total Discs field is also helpful when dealing with albums/box sets with multiple discs.
