I was wondering if there is a way to display my Movie list in Theater View in a shuffled (random order), like can be done with an audio Playlist.

I have one of my Theater views set to display my Movies by ratings (4 star or higher) and I would like to open this view (in Theater View) so that the listing is always in a random order. Can this be done?

At The Top On The Files List Bar Tab

Files > Sort By > Random

Is that what you need?

I believe you are in Standard View, I want this to random order to display when I'm in Theater View and I open Video>Movies>Sorted by ratings.
If you are referring to something available for Theater View, I don't see that setting.
Thanks for posting.

UPDATE: After reading your post and replying, I went back to the Theater View display options and found what you were talking about.
Under Set Rules for File Display>Edit Search>Modify Results>"add new modifier">Shuffle.
Looks like this is doing what I want.

Thanks!
