DLNA search on Onkyo TX-NR525
« on: March 04, 2017, 10:45:45 pm »

I have just switched to jriver from twonky server because of the Alexa skill house band. However, I still need to be able to search and play music directly from the receiver.  Everything works very well except for DLNA searching.  Searching on a track returns all tracks, and searching on an album returns nothing.  I know that others have reported this issue, but I haven't found a solution.  Searching from my Android phone works as expected. Any ideas?

This is support.

It isn't clear what you mean by "searching".  Where?

If this is a House Band question, please use the House Band topic on our Third Party board.

It is not a house band question.

I mean searching from the DLNA search screen of the Onkyo receiver using my Android app.

What is the "Android App"?  Is it an Onkyo app?

Can you search from the Onkyo itself (without using an app)?
