5.1 playback from MC as DLNA server?

Hi Guys,

Mostly loving MC(ver22-win), with it HDMI connected to my Amp, playing all my 5.1 formats (there are so many!).
I used to use PlayStationMediaCentre (long ago) to play 5.1 stuff to my Yamaha Amp. (rx-v3067 I think, lovely thing, very clever for its age).

I hoped to do the same sort of thing but MC doesn't seem to do it. In fact it seems to cause the amp to glitch somewhat & lose its network for a short while (?).
Anyway, anyone any suggestions, success stories & configs I can try?

MC will play 5.1 if set up correctly.  Have you been here?
