Probably been asked before, but here goes:

My library now has over 100 views/playlists/smartlists etc, of which I regularly use only a few for the majority of my playback.

Would be *really* great if it were possible to put direct links to views/playlists/smartlists onto the toolbars giving one-click access to them - no more drilling through the tree looking for them.  Either through Customise Toolbar dialogue, or by right clicking on any view/smartlist and selecting "Add to toolbar".  Or something like that.

Would then be possible to use MC almost entirely with the tree closed...

Ooh, like the sound of that . . . That would be really useful. You could then have a 'minimise' or 'close'  button on the left hand column (with the tree and the action window in it) and just work from the main window. (To honest that would be neat on its own)

I do to a certain extent. I typically have 10 or 11 tabs open!

There's also the "Favourites" toolbar icon. It's in dire need of an overhaul, but once setup, it works reasonably well too.

Might be interesting to try them directly on the toolbar... though I hate 'clutter' so without trying, my gut says probably not for me

Awesome, Matt!!  Been wanting this for years, although I think this is the first time I mentioned it.

Same as Marco, I use lots of open tabs, and a big favourites menu, but this shortcut is a power tool for getting where the other methods don't easily get you.

Adding playlists to the toolbar works so well and is such a powerful addition, it would be a real shame if adding views to the toolbar was forgotten...
