Check your auto import settings under Tools > Import.

Hi,
Thanks.
But now it stops backing up when it's just on about 40 files out of 550.
Window dispalys it's stopped working.
Tried 4 times.

Thanks again!

When you import files into the MC library no files are actually moved, a database of relevant tags is created. I would check that your firewall/antivirus have the necesary permissions for MC 24 to do it's job. I suspect that your hires files are not in the same location as your CD files.

The pono is a handheld device I think, so you would be best off transferring the files to your pc via windows explorer and then you can import them into the MC library database.

It's been awhile but when I had JRiver 22 I was walked through it from Pono support on the phone.  Any help appreciated.

You should have a usb lead to connect your pono to your pc. Once connected your pc will see it as just another drive. You can open the folders on the pono containing your music in windows explorer and then select and copy them and then paste them into a folder on one of your pc hard drives. You can then tell MC to include them in its library.

My PC, when Pono is connected to it just sees 2 USB drives in D and E (assuming it's the Pono and it's SD card).
Window asks to insert a disc but it does seem to be loading but never finishes.  I 've bought JRiver exclusively to play Hi Rez purchases I have made and they only way it seems to import them now is off my Pono Player.  Any help appreciated.
Can be contacted by phone that would be helpful.

Thanks again!

Click on the image, then right click and select View Image. It is small but readable.

These are the official instructions for transferring music files:-

When you connect your PonoPlayer to a computer using the included Micro USB cable, a popup will appear labeled ‘Music Transfer Mode’ with a Yes and No button.

Tapping the No button will close the popup and allow the PonoPlayer to remain connected in charging mode. The player will still function normally while charging.

Tapping the Yes button will disable all playback and navigation functions of the player and open the storage drives for transferring files.

While Music Transfer Mode is enabled, the internal drive and the external microSD card slot are exposed to allow music to be transferred to and from the player via PonoMusic Vault or using your computer’s file manager.
