No Explorer to be seen under Drives & Devices (Solved)
« on: July 18, 2019, 02:11:49 pm »

My setup: Windows 10 64 bit and MC 24.0.78 (64 bit) on a dedicated (headless) mini PC. Music is stored on drive C (500 GB SSD) and on an external USB 4 TB disk.

MC 24 is working beautifully, the sound is excellent. However, as I wanted to copy a file to the C drive, I found under Drives & Devices just the external USB drive. The Explorer was missing. MC 24 can, nonetheless, access music from C: and external disk without any problems.

Normally, I do not use Drives & Devices since I import music with Tools – Import, which automatically scans for any changes. The Windows Explorer can see all disks.
Tried powering down and restarting PC. Did not help.
Uninstalled MC 24 and reinstalled, but without any change. No browser!

I don’t think this is a software bug in MC 24, and the Windows PC is not touched except for accessing music from a Tablet using Gizmo or MusiCast from Yamaha.

Does someone have a clue what this could have caused?
Thank you!
