Hi, I'm on version 28.0.100, but I had the same  problem with version 28.0.98.
I'm unable to backup the Library.
I get a message

Code: [Select]

C:\Users\HYSTOU\Documents\JRiver\Media Center 28\Library Backups\MC Library Backup (Main Library - 2022-01-21 17-24).zip
File not found.
Check the file name and try again.
The same doesn't happen on version 27.
Let me say that I feel a little bit uncomfortable ...

What happens if you try to do a manual library backup to a different directory/location, like the Desktop or root C:\ or something like that?

Yes, on a different directory it works.
I have checked the security permissions on the directory and they looks good.
What is strange to me is that in C:\Users\HYSTOU\Documents\JRiver\Media Center 28\Library Backups there is one backup: MC Library Backup (Main Library - 2021-09-25 20-31).zip.
So the backup on that directory worked at least once.
In the following I didn't realise that the backup was not done.
Now I know that the backup can be done somewhere. I'm quite happy.
If you have any other idea it will be welcomed!

The directory or one above may be read only.

Security software may be preventing a write.

"Read only" not quite. Version "27" is perfecty able to backup on C:\Users\HYSTOU\Documents\JRiver\Media Center 28\Library Backups .
It's version "28" that has problems.

There are no such problems in MC 28. Sorry did you check security software?
