We added lyrics support about a year ago.  Did you find the post?

I think that he's looking for words of the song to be displayed in "synch" with what is currently being sung.

Those are time stamps per line of the lyrics in the example that was provided.

It would be a nice feature.

If I want to view synchronized lyrics, I just use Minilyrics https://www.crintsoft.com/minilyrics/download/

Though the program is no longer supported (since around 2015 I believe), it still seems to work just fine with MC 29.  In fact, I am pretty sure it was Guernsey who helped me many years ago figure out how to get MC to recognize it.

That said, since the program seems to be defunct, it would be awesome if J River could somehow snatch it up and integrate it directly into MC.

Works again, must try it

If JRiver did get it to work reliably it could be the cheapest Karaoke machine on the market...

FYI, MusicBee handled synchronized lyrics, including a reasonably good time stamp editor which allowed you to insert times as you listen, assuming you already had the matching lyrics.  Time stamped lyrics were saved in a sidecar text file, similar to the one shown in OP.   It may still have the functionality, but I switched to MC a few years ago, and personally don't really miss that feature and the labor involved to get it right.  I think foobar2000 also had a plugin for displaying time stamped lyrics.

Never tried MiniLyrics.  There were other sites for time stamped lyrics to use as a starting point, but I always had issues with accuracy of the basic lyrics as well as times.

AI automated time stamping would be something else, but would likely still require some capability for manual correction while listening.

Amazon, with their X-Ray Lyrics, have on of the best ways of presenting self-scrolling lyrics but even they have quite literally given up on the project as over 40% of the tracks available have no lyrics at all; and a significant percentage of those that do have either the wrong or incomplete lyrics in them. If Amazon, with their extensive resources, can't achieve providing the lyrics for 100% of the tracks they have available trying to add scrolling lyrics into MC is something that would have loads of users Constantly Complaining.
