Have been using MC22 and some later ones for a number of years, great, but...having upgraded to MC32, I'm getting a hard error on some file types.
WAV and MKA
WAV is audio multi-channel
MKA is derived audio file from MKV file, which is also multi-channel.
Both used to worlk fine AOK, brilliantly.
FLAC files still working, so audio path is OK.
"Something went wrong with playback....
Details: Failed to play xxx.wav (or xxx.mka)
The file does not contain any audio"
Both of them certainly used to work on MC22 (recently upgraded to 31 and 32).
I started converting MKA to FLAC, until I realised MCxx could play MKA directly, so I stopped all that extra malarkey.
Bitstreaming is still switched off. (Thanks to Hendrick).
I noted that it used to try to load decoders from online when opening some files before playing them, it no longer does that.
But that could, of course, be a red herring,..
I see no benefit from MC32 in my application, so I'm tempted to just downgrade again.
Any other suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
