Mysterious volume decrease
« on: February 05, 2003, 11:17:26 am »

When I first start MC9 and start playing an album the volume is sorta loud (OK) consistent with the volume knob on my Tivoli radio.  I am running my audio from my laptops sound card into the audio input of my desktop radio.  Anway, about 10 seconds or so after the song starts, the overall volume decreases rather substantially.  Then, if I go into DSP and adjust one of the EQ bands, the volume jumps back up.  But then it usually decreases again.

Why is it doing this?

How about audio software?  Software like RealOne and Musicmatch keep programs running in the background or in the lower right corner of your desktop.
