The Retrieves Track Info issue is resolved in the next Plugin build which will be available Monday.  In regards to the upload, accept the default setting which will skip duplicates and you should be all set.  The files should not be reuploading. The synch must check the existence of the files and then will skip them.

Hi Steve,
I loaded the latest build of MC and the problems I was having are back...

When you use the search bar it recalculates how many tracks you have... So you press
R.. Recalculates..O Recalculates...

Takes a while to search like this ;D

It still loads everytime you do a search. But at least it waits until you finished typing.

Just curious though, Howcome it needs to load like that? I have used MediaSource from Creativelabs and the search works without reloading the library everytime.

MC searches are designed to refresh in the way you are seeing. It is possible to modify the interaction with Portables to minimize the effects of this, but it will have to wait for a bit.
