Flush ASIO buffer?
« on: January 02, 2005, 02:16:07 pm »

Sound gets stuck when MC crashes.  That's fine, I understand the peril of beta software.  However, restarting MC and playing another file doesn't work -- it keeps playing the last few samples of the crashed song.  Is there a trick to reset ASIO, either within MC or otherwise?

Sound getting stuck is probably the soundcard driver.

I agree.  Was hoping there was a StopEverything() command hidden somewhere, since resetting the E-mu mixer app requires a reboot ::)

Have you tried updating the driver for the sound card?

I don't think there's anything MC can do at the point you have the problem.
