---  HELP ---

I would like different "startup"  functions of MC11
to be executed by unique Windows START Menu
and program  links.

Such as.. Clicking on the Windows link for
 "My Video" MC11 starts in VIDEO screen mode or
 "My Music" MC11 starts in AUDIO screen mode, etc

  just as if I had started MC11 myself, manually gone to
  tools/options/startup/startup interface/location
  and chosen audio, video, images or whatever.

I have tried the obvious like adding "video" or "audio" to
the Media Center.exe command, but MC11 still opens with
whatever default option was set from within MC11 .

I think what I need to do this will be the syntax options
for the Media Center executable .

Can someone help with the HOW,
know the syntax options for the command, 
 OR
does someone have a better idea ?

anywhere it says 'mjextman.exe', replace with 'MC11.exe'

Well I have spent several days trying things shown on the page you suggested.
I have succeded in blowing up MC11 more times than I care to say, and created problems that I have no idea how to solve. ?

Thanks for the suggestion, really...  but unless someone can tell me what to type intp my shortcut or how to modify MC11 so updates won't over write what is done, I guess I will just let well enough alone.

   Maybe someday I will learn enough to make the kinds of changes the page you suggested lets you do.

I thought there would be some simple way to tell MC11 to start with a particular set up just by appending the executable or something that easy.

Thanks for at least responding with some information.. even if I dont know how to use it ..  ?
