I'm running MC 10 and have had it a while, but this is my first post here.  I have no trouble setting up playlists but I don't understand if I have the playback in random mode why do I keep hearing the same artist a song or two after I've already heard them?  For example, I will hear a Paul McCartney track followed by The Eagles...then MC will choose another McCartney track.  I'm an old radio programmer that wants this set up like the rotation clocks we used to use.  I don't want to hear the same artist that often.  What do I need to do to fix this? ?

Callen21: you're seeing an artifact of the randomization algorithm. A lot of people here complained that it wasn't random (even though it was) because sometimes two songs by the same artist would be together. We patched it so it wouldn't happen, and the result is a lot of times what you are seeing.
