Microsoft rigging their listening tests?
« on: September 06, 2002, 05:12:05 am »

Microsoft may have used old MP3 encoders in their comparison against the new WMA encoder.  At least, that's what someone reports in a thread on hydrogenaudio.

Maybe someone here could confirm this.

Cant confirm it but I believe it.
Probably used Xing or some other bad encoder to make themselves seem awesome as per usual.
