I'm using a Terratec Noxon 2 client to connect with the MC UPNP server. The autodetection does not work so I choose Noxon (I think version 1 is ment). After setting this configuration the Noxon 2 client can connect with the server but i can not play any music as i do not come into any folder.

If I choose the point "1 Interpret/Album" on the client, the server logs: "Browse BrowseDirectChildren 5(Audio\1 Interpret/Album)" but that's it. Nothing else. After many attemps, my log files looks like this:

I do not get any feedback from the server.

Without access to your device, I have the following uPnP options set, which work for me on my non supported UPnPclients...

Reciever: Advanced

• Replace Empty Genre
• No Server Header

[x[ Allow Visual Content

• Skip Child Count
• Omit Host Portion of URL

I recommend experimenting with all option in the UPnP server, made a hell of a difference for me...

thanks for the advices... the did not work as posted but i changed some of them to the noxon 1 default and now it works. so my configuration for the noxon 2 is:

receiver: advanced
+ replace emtpy genre
+ use flat urls
+ include seesionId
+ no server header
- allow visual content
- filter international characters (for german 'Umlaute' e.g. ä or ö)
+ skip child count
+ omit host portion of url.

Thanks, and if you copy and paste the exact error message for autodetection, I'll see about getting it to work too.
