New bug when burning DVDs
« on: January 15, 2007, 02:03:44 am »

There is a problem, when i want to burn lots of files to a DVDs in data-mode.
MC says, it will span to, for example, 3 discs.
When the first disc is finished and the next (empty) disc is inserted, MC presents the following messagebox:

"Capacity of disc is too small. Disc must be of equal or greater size than first disc used in the burn.
Required 4699265024 bytes, disc inserted 405368833 bytes."

Note, that the second number has only 9 digits (vs. 10 for the first) and that the second disc has the same capacity as the first in reality.

This behaviour is always reproducable. Consequently, there is no chance to burn more than one disc, and the rest of the burning queue is never burnt.

This problem has been resolved with the latest build, thanks!

But, sorry, the next problem has crept in, too.
Filenames and directories are now eight characters long (on DVD/CD), no matter which options were chosen in the burning options dialog.

That has been working in the builds before.
