Library server doesn't play music

Suddenly, my Asus EEE, which I use to connect through Library Server, is unable to play music.  It just says the files can't be played.  Yet on the server I can locate them on disk...I can play them through a HTPC...I can play them over UPnP server on an MP101...

I have changed the conversion settings to none and always mp3.  Neither fix the problem.  I recall it working not long ago.  Maybe last or 2nd to last public version?  I haven't listened to music on it in a short while so it could be 2 versions back.
