I have two notebooks. One connects to my library server just fine. The other will request the same file that was just playing fine on the good notebook. When it goes to play the file, I get the "02/04/08 10:12:10 - Error sharing file, it is not part of the library." in the Library Server log.

Any thoughts?

I have a similar error (please my recent post "Media Server doesn't work (on my network)".

Could you check the message on the server side and verify if the requested path is expressed with "/" or with "\" ?

Library Server appears to be broken in build 428.

I think the problem occured in an earlier version.

Sorry, I had not seen the post of John G.:

Fixed in 429 and above, should be available soon.
