Anyone know how to make a smartlist containing one hit wonders - i.e. Artists where I only have 1 song by them.

Would be useful, so I could reduce the number of Artists in my collection and thus speed up iPod browsing.

After many years, and many more builds, it's still not possible via smartlists.

You can get at the information via the library browser though, if that's any help to you?

Actually, this one is possible, with two smartlists:

Not One Hit wonders: Only duplicates of Artist
One Hit wonders: Playlists is not any Non One Hit wonders

The above doesn't include 'one hit wonders' that have duplicates...

For that we need: (Possibly a simpler way to do this...but I'll leave that for marko )
A Duplicates
Only duplicates of Artist,Name
Remove duplicates of Artist,Name

B Non one hit wonders (duplicates removed)
Remove duplicates of Artist,Name
Only duplicates of Artist

C Non one hit wonders (duplicates included)
Only duplicates of Artist

D Duplicates or not one hit wonders
Playlists any A,B
Only duplicates of Artist

E One hit wonders with duplicates
Playlists is A
Playlists is not D

F One hit wonders without duplicates
Playlists is not C

G All One hit wonders
Playlists is any E,F
