log.txt
« on: January 10, 2009, 10:53:19 am »

Why do I have a 5GB "log.txt" file located in my  "C:\Documents and Settings\User\Application Data\J River\Media Center 12"  folder?

Is this normal?   Can I safely delete this file ?

In MC Help, turn off logging.  It's safe to delete.

Thanks, that was it.   I wasn't aware continuous logging was occurring.  Pretty nifty and I'll try to remember to enable it if I have any problems.. I discovered this file after a defrag of the hard disk would never clear a large chunk of fragmented files.   I searched the documents & settings folder for files larger than 100MB and found this log file..    Once I removed the file that chunk of fragmented files went away also.  :)

Thanks
